Log work preparation, treatment and procedures are undertaken to support a nominated durability of a minimum of 30 years. The logs are peeled or de-barked to size, handcrafted and milled to specifications.

The carpenter scribes a lateral groove cut out to fit exactly into the contour of the log below it. U.S. Log & Timber notches allow for a tight fit.
