We're proud of the log packages we put together and we think they represent some of the best values around in the housing market today. We also believe you'll find them to be among the most complete log packages offered by anyone in the industry. Whereas many manufacturers offer only the building materials—the logs themselves—U.S. Log & Timber supplies a great deal more.
U.S. Log & Timber packages provide the parts that you wouldn't normally find locally. However, there are various items that you will need to finish your home that you will be able to readily procure on a local level. Therefore, we don't supply these items because we feel it will save you both on "middleman" and shipping costs, and allow you to take advantage of "comparison shopping" among local suppliers of these materials, which include: foundation, plumbing, electrical, heating, cabinets, fireplace, and sub-flooring.
Because, we want you to know everything you want to know, so that the only surprise you'll ever have when dealing with U.S. Log & Timber is the even-greater-than-imagined beauty of your authentic home.
U.S. Log & Timber has three package options:
1. Full timber package - all of the log components for the house as drawn
2. Dry-in package (the same as #1 but with all the components (doors, windows, etc) needed to make the house weathertight
3. Full home package - this is the most complete package and will be spelled out and priced once the floor plans are drawn.
Although you see three packages above each one of them can have various changes and subcategories added or deleted from them. For example: will your package have solid interior walls or framed interior walls? Will you have heavy timber trusses and purlins for your roof or standard framed trusses? The list can go on and on.
Our goal is to supply you with the best package possible that works with your budget and gives you the greatest advantages in working with U.S. Log & Timber. It is our way of doing all we can to give you the most house for the lowest cost!
